August 2010 - "Men's Group Activity"
The Men's Group, "Joshua Generation," is a once a month activity for men to share Christian fellowship while
participating in various events like cookouts, shows, bowling, dinner, game night, etc.

August 15, 2010 - "Outdoor Service at Blacklick Woods Park"
Join MCNC at an outdoor service at Blacklick Woods Park starting at 10AM.
The park is located east of Columbus in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

August 22 and 29, 2010 - "Same Sex Relationships and Christian Compatibility"
Two weeks of special teachings will be held the last two Sundays of August.
Rev. Karen Hipsher will lead discussions concerning the compatibility of the Christian faith and same sex relationships.
Come and learn what the Bible "really says" concerning same sex relationships.
Question and answer time will be part of these Sunday services. So come ready to ask questions and to learn!

August 15, 2010 - "Potluck Sunday"
Join MCNC Church for a potluck meal. More details are in the potluck heading below.

Sunday Sermons
Sunday services start at 11am.

August 1, 8, 15 - Sermons given by Pastor Kelly Cross.

August 22 and 29 - Services led by Rev. Karen Hipsher, director of the "Healing Ministry."

Weekly Bible Cell Groups
MCNC Church offers a home-based cell group for your mid-week boost to study and understand God's word.
Our East Side group meets on Thursdays from 7pm - 9pm.
From 7 - 7:30pm is a half hour of socializing and light snacks before the study session.
The cell group study time starts at 7:30pm and wraps up about 9pm.

Our meeting dates and teachers for August are as follows:
August 5 - guest teacher Dusty
August 12 - guest teacher Rev. Carla Cross, leader of the "Free Indeed" support group
August 19 and 26 - Bible teacher Rev. Gwen Davis

Potluck Sunday
Our potluck meal will be on August 15, 2010.
This month we are combining our potluck meal with our, outdoor service at Blacklick Woods Park, on Sunday, August 15, 2010.
