The following information on God's gift of salvation has been prepared by Pastor Kelly Cross. It proves that God's gift of salvation includes both the GLBT and straight communities. May God bless you as you read it.

I have great news to share with you! Have you been told that you are an abomination to God and that He hates you because of your sexual orientation? Or if not in those cruel terms, have you been told that God will accept you as His child, but you have to stop leading your life as a homosexual, bi-sexual or transgendered person. Well, that’s not what God says! He loves and wants you whether you're gay, straight, bisexual, or transgender. Everyone is a whosoever.

God loves you!
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

He died for our sins that separate us from Him, to remove them, not our orientation, for all have sinned and put a wall between themselves and God.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23

But God proves His love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

Jesus died so He wouldn’t have to live without you and offers you the free gift of eternal life just for putting your faith in what He did for you, dying for your sin and raising from the dead totally defeating sin.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:23

All you have to do is believe with your heart that Jesus died for you and say with your mouth that He is your Lord and Savior, then the wall of separation will come down and God Himself will come into your heart, cleanse your sin and make you His child, this is what is called being born again.

Because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.

Romans 10:9-10

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10:13

But the good news is that eternal life and forgiveness of sin is a free gift by the grace of God. All you have to do is receive it by faith. If you will pray this prayer and mean it from your heart, God will come to live in your heart and be your Heavenly Father for all eternity.

Lord God I come to you in the name of your Son Jesus, I believe that He died to pay the price for my sin and that you raised Him from the dead victoriously. I turn away from sin and turn to you. Jesus come into my heart and forgive and cleanse my sin. I receive eternal life right now. Jesus you are my Lord and Savior. Fill me with your Spirit and make me the best me I can be for you. I am now a child of God. In Jesus Name, Amen.
